“Mass in Motion” is catching on! – The town of Northboro takes strides to improve its community’s health
Knuckle Bones loves the idea of healthy living! And we’re not alone, as cities and towns in Massachusetts continue to pick up with Governor Patrick’s “Mass in Motion” program, initially launched two years ago.
One town in particular, Northboro, the 13th community to join the “Mass in Motion” program, has shown impressive efforts over the past two years to better the health of its citizens. Town Health Agent, Jamie L. Terry speaks of the town’s efforts in the following article, where she emphasizes the idea of focusing on a positive (healthy habits) rather than a negative (obesity) when designing these programs for a society.
